Getting started
What is UmrahAi?
UmrahAi is an AI-powered guide app for your Umrah journey. It helps you follow your worship step by step, and offers live translation, group tracking and tools that work offline. Available for Android; the iPhone version is coming soon. Most of the app is free.
Do I need to create an account to use it?
No. As soon as you install the app, you can browse the Umrah guide, the holy sites and the content without signing in. For features that need a record — progress tracking, groups and purchases — you sign in with your phone number; there's no password, the one-time code sent to your number is enough.
Do I need UmrahAi when Nusuk is available?
They serve different purposes. Nusuk is Saudi Arabia's official digital services platform; services such as Umrah permits and Rawdah al-Mutahharah visit permits may be managed through Nusuk under the rules in effect at the time. UmrahAi does not replace these services. It helps you follow your worship step by step, and offers live translation, group tracking and tools that work offline. You can use both together.
Fees and packages
How do premium packages work?
Premium comes as one-off packages of 15 or 30 days; it isn't a subscription and doesn't renew automatically. The period starts not when you buy the package but when you activate it in the app. You can buy your package months ahead and activate it when your journey begins.
How much does it cost?
Prices are shown in the App Store or Google Play store for your country; purchases are also made through the store.
How do refunds and cancellations work?
Because purchases are made through the stores, refund requests are subject to the App Store's or Google Play's refund process; you can submit your request from your store account. Since the packages aren't subscriptions, there is nothing to cancel.
Features
What works without internet?
Downloaded books and audio/video content, the counters and step marking, the digital tasbih and the Qibla compass work without internet; your records sync automatically once you're connected. Qibla is calculated entirely on your phone — it doesn't connect to a server and only asks for location permission. Live translation, the AI Umrah Assistant and live broadcast require an internet connection.
Languages, translation and the AI Umrah Assistant
What languages is the app in?
The interface is in six languages: Turkish, English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi and Indonesian. Live translation supports 63 languages — the interface language and the translation languages are separate things; you can use the app in your own language while talking to someone in another.
How does live translation work?
You speak, the app translates and reads it out loud to the other person; there's a two-microphone layout for face-to-face conversation. The list of supported languages is shown in the app's language picker. Live translation works with an internet connection.
What can I ask the AI Umrah Assistant?
You can ask your Umrah-related questions by typing or speaking; the answers come with the related supplication cards. The assistant only answers about Umrah and politely declines questions outside that scope. Your chat history is saved to your account.
Groups, location and safety
How do I set up a group with my family or friends?
You create a group in the app and have your companions scan its QR code; each join is confirmed with your approval. Members see each other on the map, can set a meeting point and, if needed, send an SOS within the group. Your group stays open as long as you want; its duration can be extended.
Who is my location shared with?
Your location is read only for the feature you're using and shared only with your group. You can turn off live location sharing at any time. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Account and device
What happens to my records if I change my phone?
Your records are tied to your phone number; when you sign in with your number on the new device, your progress, counts and packages come back. Quran completion tracking and the Quran bookmark are stored on the device, so they don't carry over to the new phone. For security, only one device stays signed in at a time; a new sign-in ends the session on the previous device.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from within the app; with the deletion request, the records linked to your account are removed. If you can't access the app, you can also leave a request on the account deletion page. Details are in the Privacy Notice (KVKK) and the Privacy Policy.
